The Garmin 480 will store 8 checklists with 100 lines each. This is an overview of the procedure to set up and edit a checklist.
In order to activate a completed checklist click on the CHK function to view the list. Highlight the list you want then hit ENT/Menu. As each item is completed push CHCK to move down the list. When finished push LIST to choose the next checklist.
From Map 1 select map 2-4 with the large outer courser knob. These three maps have selectable data fields. Push Menu/Enter and then NAV DATA, then a SEL DATA key is available. Push the SEL DATA and the courser will highlight the first data field name. You can scroll through the options with the small inner couser knob.
